This walk is being held in collaboration with the Kawartha Shambhala group and follows a one hour public guided meditation with instruction from 6 - 7 pm. The Forest Therapy walk will begin at approximately 7 pm.

WHAT TO BRING: whatever you need to be comfortable outdoors for ~ 2 hours:
- a headlamp or flashlight - this walk will take place in the dark. There is some lighting around the building and parking area.
- rain / snow gear - we will carry on with the walk through light rain or snow
- layered clothing - we will be moving slowly, and taking some time to be still so you will feel cooler than on a hike
- water bottle or warm drink
COST: $Free - any donations will be gratefully accepted, with proceeds going towards Rooted Heart's start-up costs and in support future walks. 10% of donations will be held in bursary to support participants of future events
LOCATION: The Mount Community Centre, 1545 Monaghan Rd, Peterborough
There is ample free car parking as well as a bicycle rack and public transportation options. We will meet inside the Community Centre, in the 'Gathering Room'. Please arrive a few minutes before the scheduled start time, or arrive at 6pm to enjoy the indoor meditation first.
