*This walk will be shorter than usual. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will have clear skies to view the moonrise!

TO PREPARE: Registration is now closed. If you have already registered, please fill out the Intake and Liability Waiver Form if this is your first event with Rooted Heart. Please bring the completed form with you to the walk or email it to me ahead of time.

WHAT TO BRING: whatever you need to be comfortable outdoors for ~1.5 to 2 hours! Potentially:

• a headlamp or flashlight - this walk will end after sunset, and the trail back to the parking lot is not lit.
• rain gear - we will carry on with the walk through light rain
• layered clothing - we will be moving slowly, so you may feel cooler than on a hike
• water bottle
• insect repellent - the mosquitoes are slowing down, but are still out due to all of the rain this year. There is also some potential for ticks.

I will provide foam pads for you to sit on, and natural bug spray, should you need it. If sitting on the ground is not ideal for you, please let me know ahead of time, and I can accommodate you with a portable chair or stool.

LOCATION: Sir Sanford Fleming College Peterborough Campus Trails

*To reach the College trails, park in the Elm Lot, which is located closest to the trail head and the main campus building (washrooms accessible inside).  Weekday parking fees are $4.00 per hour, to a maximum of $12 per day.  If you require help with transportation / fees please contact me and I will do my best to help you attend!  There is also bicycle parking and public transportation available. We will meet under the trees beside the parking lot. Please arrive a few minutes before the scheduled start time.
